ACIM Remind App revisa

I’m going through ACIM with a group and we were talking about how necessary an app was for the workbook . . . And here it is! My only wish is I would love a setting so it automatically moves you to the next day and continues the reminders. Right now you have to open it newly each day to set reminders and manually move to the next exercise.

I am all about having the physical book especially because of its energy, however this app has been extremely handy over the years I’ve had it. I like the way it’s structured and user friendly. If I’m out and about and don’t carry my book around, I can get straight to the lesson via this app.

Just need to be able to listen to the lessons.

I started out making index cards and trying to remember the exercises throughout my day. THIS app is a game changer. So far I am remembering and applying the exercises so much more and miracles are happening. This app makes it so much easier. Works amazing for me.

Does exact what is needed

I love everything about this app and I use it all day long. I love the choices. It gives me in the musical background and the speed with which I can listen being able to pause between sentences that take a while to digest. I’m very grateful for this app.

Asked God to show me the path and ACIM was revealed! Decide what you want and the Awareness of Divine Love is revealed! It has always been there awaiting the choice! 💖💖💖🙏🏼💖💖💖

This app is my daily companion. I love the “random” option. The update is good because it doesn’t veer too far from the simple layout from the original version. It’s easy to use. I’m so grateful.

So grateful for the update to the UI. Wish there was widget so I could swipe left from the Lock Screen to see the daily lesson. I’m following the daily lessons through the year. Wish the reminders could automatically update to todays lesson without going in to set it up everyday.

The timer was not working in the new version so I left a review about it. The developer fixed the bug and emailed me to let me know it was fixed. I updated the app and sure enough it IS fixed. Thank you for your speedy response and superb customer service.

If only it could announce out loud the reminder text, this app would be perfect.

It was a pleasing app, now it is boxy, no flow, difficult to find ur place. I am so unhappy With new update. why would you do a bad update on a great app???

I could do my lesson if I had to do it morning and evening, but if I had to repeat something every half hour or every hour, it seemed to go down the tubes as I forgot many times. Well not anymore! This app never failed, and even if I was not in the room to hear the alarm, in the back of my mind I knew I hadn’t heard it and could check my reminders and do it then. It’s the Holy Spirit tapping me on the shoulder saying it’s time.

Having the reminders pop up on the phone is such a wonderful way to bring one’s thoughts back to our goal of becoming more like Christ. I customize the text and frequency of alerts to best serve that end. I found a soothing voice on the accessibility screen reader and listen while reading the full text of each lesson. Thanks for such an innovative way to keep our thoughts on things divine.

I’ve tried and tried but can’t get the reminders to work. Also, the app should design reminders - when this function is fixed- to connect with Apple Watches

I never had any trouble with the app. It does the job. There’s a lesson here for any app dev: keep the code clean and the scope focused. You don’t have to show off with everything you make.

I love that this app has the lessons right at my fingertips. I’ve tried doing the workbook before with the little cards and somehow would forget. This app eliminates my ego’s excuses lol. The only thing the reminders don’t work I just realized that and I’m not sure why but to me it’s still worth the price of the app.

Happy to see the course app. I started the course 1998 took me five years but I somehow finished and it changed my life. I find myself longing to do it again. Lost my forgiveness muscles lol. I’m enjoying this app. Thank you

I was very hesitant to try this out because I like being off the grid, especially when I am practicing this beautiful course. But it’s so awesome how technology can be a gift. I get so forgetful of these delicious truths throughout my day. And I have these magical chimes reminders that chime every 15 minutes which is super cool keeping me in the right peaceful place, for the most part. (And it’s awesome that you can adjust the sounds/ timing to your liking.) Thank you!! :)

Great app that helps you remember to do it every hour or whatever amount of time I’ve been using it for years

This app is so helpful to A Course in Miracles students. I am so glad I found it.

Pleasant discrete reminders at whatever interval you like. Easy to set up once a day.

Like others have said, this app is amazing for completing the daily workbook tasks, especially the ones that are meant to be done more than 3 times a day. My only feature request would be for notifications to be automatic for the next day. Right now I have to turn on the notifications for each lesson every day, for example today I have notifications turned on for lesson 17, and tomorrow I have to open the app and manually turn on notifications for day 18. I’d prefer for this to happen automatically and for there to be the option to turn off “automatic daily reminders” for the following lesson. This would be a great feature, but even without it, this app is amazing in conjunction with the ACIM workbook and text. Very grateful for this app!

I was encouraged because it wasn’t a free app. I thought paying a fair price would mean that it is being updated and working properly but I was wrong. You have to set the reminders every day. What is the point of a reminder if you have to remember to set the reminder EVERY DAY?

It’s been four years and it’s still a very relevant course. Please update it.

Perfect to have handy reminders for busy days when the book isn’t handy to reflect on.

This app simply does not work. No reminder. I don’t understand how it updates itself from day to day which seems random. I would like my money back.

There are a lot of gurus. More unhealed healers. Publishers. Litigants. Experts, trainers, conference presenters, translators, leaders and happy people. Do the lessons anyway. As instructed. Good day.

I am Very grateful for this app which helps me stay on track and actually apply the ACIM Lessons as prescribed. A 40-year student

I have an iPhone 7 using the latest IOS 15.4.1. I went into the app’s Settings to configure it for the Reminders. Didn’t work. Verified my phone’s Setup allowed Notifications for the app. Turned my phone off then on. Went into the app’s Setup again and toggled the off/on button for the heck of it. Notifications still don’t work. What’s up with that? Did I just waste $5.99?

The coursework along with the app really go hand in hand and allow for continuous reflection on the daily lessons.

Course in Miracles came to my life exactly whe I needed it the most. This app helps me daily to stay grounded and practice teaching of the course ❤️ cannot recommend it enough

I can’t get the sound to always come through. I e had it for about a week and only yesterday did it sound. Once I changed the time it stopped again. I’m hoping it will start again and then I can rate a 5 star

This is fine, I like the text and reminders, however, if all you want is text, to see the lesson— there are free apps for that. If you need the reminder, then this one is for you.

Love this app but why, when I get a reminder, am I just getting the info under Today's Lessons? When I click on the notification, the app takes me to Today's Lessons, not to the Reminder Text that I have set up. Also, I realize this adds a whole other level of complexity, but if I create a Reminder Text, it should save so I can look at it in the future once I have gone on to other lessons. concerning the above, I saw a response from the developers that all I had to do was leave the app opened to the reminder text and that would be what would open if I clicked on the notice. I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS IS NOY THE CASE FOR ME. I have the reminder text up and go off to other apps to check email or whatever. When the alert goes off, iPhone open to some other app, I touch on the alert and go right to the screen that allows me to pick the lesson for the day, not the reminder text. I have experienced this over and over again. So the answer posted from the developers did not solve my issue.

ACIM has been in my sights for a long time. I am ready and this app helps!

This has really helped me with my daily exercises. The app needs some professional development. It is really clunky and requires a few days of using it and reading the documentation to get how it works.

Very helpful in remembering to practice. Great to have short reminder info and full lesson text easily available. User friendly- highly recommend!

To be able to see and read the lesson anytime anywhere is amazing! And to top it off this app sends you reminders on the lesson! Wow, truly a God send!
